The easiest destination wedding in the region to actually organise: resorts on the east and west coasts run weddings as a product, with in-house coordinators, packages that include the legal paperwork, and a supplier list they will hand you. The trade-off is that it will feel like a resort wedding unless you push. There is a residency requirement before the licence is issued, so arrive earlier than you think you need to, and check the cyclone season before you fall in love with a January date.
